The Center is a coordinating agent for the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team, a regional alliance that promotes collaboration in issues of interest across state borders.  The Northeast Dairy Leadership Team was initiated by an agreement among the departments of agriculture in New York, Vermont and Pennsylvania, signed in June 2006.
 
In 2009, the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team encouraged change in milk pricing at the federal level, change in farmer income insurance programs, and promotion of farm risk management tools.
