The New York Center for Dairy Excellence provides grant funds or initiates projects that strive to increase farm profitability. 

How projects are funded

Most projects are developed or promoted through the New York Dairy Industry Task Force.  For information about the Task Force, click here.

To submit a project idea to the NY Center for Dairy Excellence, work with a member of the Task Force or contact us.

The NY Dairy Industry Task Force executive committee recommends proposals for funding based on input from the Task Force.  The NY Farm Viability Institute approves funding decisions.

Current Projects

For a list of current projects funded by the New York Center for Dairy Excellence, use the ``Funded Projects'' section of this webpage.  Under the first drop-down box in the sort tool, select ``CDE." (The drop box will typically say ``All Grants.")  Then, click on the box that says ``Go.''  The website will automatically generate a list for you. 

Click on the project title for a description of the project and links to documents and websites related to the projects.  Some project descriptions include profiles of farmers that have worked with the project.  To visit the ``Funded Projects'' sort tool, click here.
