The following farm profiles are part of a series developed by the New York Center for Dairy Excellence in the fall of 2008 to share stories of farmers that have implemented conservation and environmental management practices on their dairies. The article-series project originated with the New York Dairy Industry Task Force. The idea is for farmers to share with each other experiences of how environmental practices can benefit the overall farm operation, and encourage more farms to participate in the NYS Agricultural Environmental Management program.
These stories want to be shared! Below are downloadable PDFs that can be printed and handed out at meetings or events, or reprinted in newsletters.
